MRC Unit #2781

Monroe County Medical Reserve Corps. Unit #2781

Hello,

My name is Stacey Macchi and I am a Certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor and am so pleased to be able to work with Monroe County MRC to offer you this training on two separate dates!  Not to worry though, you will only need to sign up for one!

The training is going to be offered on Thursday, July 10th from 8:00am to 4:00pm OR Saturday, July 19th from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

During this training we will learn what mental health first aid is, your role as a mental health first aider, the various types of mental health challenges people face in the United States and how you can take action by learning the ALGEE Mental Health Action Plan.

To sign up, please do the following:

Click on the Google Form directly below the date that you plan to attend.  Just click and enter your name and email.  I will need this to register you in the Mental Health First Aid Connect System.

Thursday, July 10th MHFA Training (please register by Friday, July 4th)

Saturday, July 19th MHFA Training (please register by Friday, July 11th)

Google Link:  https://forms.gle/issBnABE4GvkVcCo6

Location for both dates:  Monroe County Health Department, 1315 Jamie Lane, Waterloo, IL  62298

Once you sign up on the Google form I will add you to Mental Health First Aid Connect.  You will be invited to create a profile via email.  Please watch for this email as it comes from MHFA and sometimes it has the potential to sneak into junk/spam mail.

Complete your profile and after you do this, I will be in touch via email where I will invite you to our course and ask you to complete a few short modules of pre-training work.  These are short and won’t take you very much time.

I am looking forward to seeing all of you soon!

Best,

Stacey Macchi
