Monroe County Recycling Center

The Monroe County Recycling Center is located behind the Annex building at 901 Illinois Avenue Waterloo, IL 62298.

Hours of Operation: 

Monday – Friday  8:00 am – 4:00 pm                                                                                                                                    Saturday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm                                                                                                                                                CLOSED HOLIDAYS & SUNDAYS

NO LARGE LOADS OF ANY KIND ACCEPTED AFTER:                                                                                                                        3:45 pm Monday – Friday & 11:45 am Saturday

FOR THE SAFETY OF EVERYONE

  • Sort all recyclable items before arriving at facility
  • Keep children and pets inside vehicles at all times
  • DO NOT ENTER BUILDING when cones are displayed due to machinery in use

NOTE: ALL GLASS MUST HAVE STEEL LIDS/CORKS REMOVED. 
ALL PLASTIC/GLASS/STEEL PRODUCTS MUST BE EMPTY.
